A wedding in snowy Breckenridge

The Casey house is a private residence perched at the top of Boreas pass in Breckenridge and is available for intimate weddings and receptions. Lindsey and Joe had planned an outdoor ceremony on the Casey house deck but an abundance of snow moved it inside. Just under 100 guests gathered around the couple for the beautiful and intimate ceremony. They stood in front of large glass windows that framed hundreds of pinetrees covered in layers of fresh snow. Lindsey looked amazing in her ivory gown accessorized with a light blue sash and red shoes. Her only request for her bouquet was for it to be "colorful" and gave me liberty to select unusual and fabulous spring buds such as helioborus, parrot tulips, anemones, hyacinth and daffodils. I wired small red ranunculus buds for her hair and the combination of the dress, sash, shoes and bouquet was bright and beautiful. The boutonnieres coordinated with this palette and I incorporated tiny pine cones to compliment the setting. The couple stood between two of our decorative pine posts filed with colorful, spring arrangements including lilies, dahlias, oncidium orchids, delphinium, freesia and ranunculus.
