This weekend we attended the annual Derby Party at the Botanic Gardens http://www.denverderby.com/. The weather cooperated and it was a great party for a good cause. I created hats with fresh buds for both myself and my dear friend Rachael, and adorned our husbands with boutonnieres. Here are a few pics of the colorful creations including orchid, spray rose, and aster buds.
